Easy Autumn Apple Cake
This is a quick but deliciously impressive dessert. Its' cozy heartwarming aroma evokes happy holiday memories but is so easy to make, you'll have time to work on making this years' memories!
Supplies:
13" x 9" pan
butter knife
Ingredients:
One cake mix - yellow or spice are recommended choices
Prepared Apple pastry and pie filling (2 pound sleeve is enough for two cakes)
Cinnamon and sugar
Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions and pour into greased and floured pan. Squeeze 1 pound (1/2 sleeve) of apple pastry and pie filling over batter. Using butter knife, gently swirl filling into cake batter. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar and bake as directed.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream. Yummmmm!
Refrigerate any leftovers.
